The curious case of Cate Blanchett
When Cate Blanchett was considering whether or not to take the role of Galadriel in the blockbuster trilogy Lord of the Rings, there were a lot of important things to weigh up. It was husband Andrew who helped Blanchett make her final decision. “He asked me, ‘Are you going to get to wear pointy ears? And I said, ‘Yes.’ And he said, ‘Do it’. So I did. I basically did it so I could have the pointy ears.” To read full story by Andy click on images above.
